How nice she likes to sew! Hello Kitty stuff is much better. My dd years and years ago loved Hello Kitty stuff. Singer's real machines aren't that hot either.

Thats too bad...though singer in general isn't what it used to be. The last singer machine I owned that I liked was like...one model up from the old treadle machine, lol. Glad you found a good replacement.

So sad.... I ended up getting my DD a basic starter machine for Hanukkah this year (a "real" one) because all the kid ones were either $$$ for a kid one or ... THIS :) I found a very inexpensive Sears model and she loves it.

I have one for scrapbooking - the Sew Crafty from Provocraft - that is made that way. It is ok for papercrafting but only makes a straight stitch and does not go backward. Not being a very good sewer, it works good enough for papercrafting.
