Pics are of me, playing with the clarinet quartet from a community band I belong to...

Playing the clarinet is definitely one of my true loves. I started playing when I was in the 6th grade. After a 7 year break from playing, I found the Downriver Community Band and have been playing ever since. Belonging to such a fantastic group has improved my musicianship and has provided me with so many opportunities to share my love of music with others. These photos were taken at a local school’s “Visit from the North Pole” in 2004. Our clarinet quartet provided background music while the students enjoyed refreshments, made crafts and visited with the big guy and one of his reindeer (that’s right a live reindeer!!!)
