This is me and my father dancing on my wedding day. I made this layout and framed it as a Father's Day Present. I wrote the poem myself just for him. The Poems Reads:
What I am today would have never been
if not for the father you were way back when.
I thank you for working so hard and
coming home every night.
I thank you for the dinners on the table
and teaching me wrong from right.
So here I am on my wedding day marrying
the man I love but that never would
have happened if you hadn’t given me love.
For your love taught me
how to open my heart
and to let that love flow through
from the very start.
So here’s my gift to you on this special day
because sometimes we get so busy
we forget to say,
I love you Dad.
