This was made for a 26 layout challenge about your blackness,My answer to the first is:
I classify my coloring as warm caramel, somewhere in between medium and dark brown. I have never struggled with low self-esteem because of my skin color. Thankfully I was never teased about color as a young child. I know depending on where you live kids can pick fun at you. But I grew up doing cultural movement that BLACK IS BEAUTFUL and James Brown singing I’m black and I’m proud, so I’ve always had confidence in my skin tone. I love being a black woman because I am a sassy, creative, loving, intelligent, and strong.
