Wow, the work that went into this turned out great. The intricate cutting looks wonderful. The lady in the clock is a nice treat tucked among the flowers.
It might have turned out as you imagined, but it is certainly a beautiful layout! I can see you and your sister in this photo! Such a great job with this layout!
This is really pretty! I love the pp's and the way you did the title. That always happens to me...I have a vision and wind up with something completely different lol
Yes, Jeannie - that happens to me to. I have an idea for a layout and then it takes on a life of it's own! Yours is gorgeous! I can still see that doily and it looks great!!! The photo that you found is a real treasure! This memory will be preserved forever, and beautifully, thanks to you!!!!!!!
My mother when she was in high school, sometime in the mid to late 1930s. The studio or whoever colored the photo back in the day did an awful job on her eyelashes and lips but I love this photo anyway...only recently unearthed it while cleaning out my parents' home. This is my entry in the Heritage Challenge. This didn't turn out at all the way I imagined it. It started out with a doily that almost got completely covered up. I had lots of flowers laid out but didn't like them. Pps are Prima and Graphic 45. Letters are Glitz and Basic Grey. Martha Stewart punch. colored the dress on the clock lady with a blue copic and inked the doily. ZVA pearls.
