My brother and me in 1951...My dad had just returned from Korea and had brought us lots of great presents. We're both wearing Japanese pajamas and jackets all made of embroidered silk or satin. Dad brought me those two dolls...the big one was bigger than me..her name was Gretchen..she was all cloth except for her plastic face...her nose was eventually smashed in which is how I remember her...the other little dolly was a little girl Geisha with a beautiful dress...I quickly discovered how to separate her head from her body..her head was on stick which I thought was fun....eventually the head got lost so all I had was her body with the beautiful dress..don't know what ever happened to her...boy I wish I had her now.
Everything on this layout is from Basic Grey Konnichiwa. I got the idea of cutting the CUTE CUTE sticker in half from a layout in the Basic Grey gallery...no artist name was listed.
