Awwww, I just this paper you used! So pretty! I agree with the rest - ink the edges so that they pop, and also, the title is 'off' to me. Maybe line it up in a straight row. Great job otherwise!
I would ink the edges of the flourish just to make it stand out a bit. I would also make the title linear (like brenda suggested). I love the colors in this LO.
This is excellent, I love that there are a lot of elements & techniques going on but it doesn't seem too cluttered. I quite like the non-linear title, to me it goes well with the playfulness of this LO! I am feeling that this needs something around the perimeter to tie it all together, so I'm ditto-ing Tiff's suggestion of sanding the edge of the whole enchilada. But otherwise, adorable girl, adorable LO!
I so LOVE this LO, beautiful use of the PP's, LOVE the ribbons and the Photo is quite adorable. I would agree with the title being a little more linear but all in all, excellent!
Despite your use of different techniques/looks, it actually looks clean and simple to me. I like all the elements you employed. I do feel that flourish needs more, though, so it looks less chipboard-y--like a little glitter glaze, or somethin'. I'm normally cool with titles that aren't linear, but for this lo, I would've kept it linear. Last, I think the I and Your would be better aligned with the rest of the page's elements if they were written in a more consistent font like the one on the journaling tag.
This is really good. A lot of different things going on... distressing, multiple patterns, ribbons, various fonts... so much, but its not overwhelming. I can't put my finger on any one part I love - its the over all effect.
This is a lot of fun .. i love the colors and the placement. My only suggestion to is remove the red matting on the "A is for adorable" and put the same blue at the top instead of that cherry red {I like the amount of red as an accent instead of focal}. But love the hidden journaling and all of the ribbons!
Q-T-Pie! Love, love, love this LO! Your composition is spot on! I am totally feeling your title and I love the innovative use of the negative space with the chipboard letters, in your niece's name, as well. The patterned papers coordinate perfectly. In fact, I can't tell if that is one big piece or if you pieced it together, but it rocks. This LO has a shabby chic feel that really complements the black and white photo or vice versa. My only suggestion, and I swear I am reachin' here.....maybe sand the edges of the photo to make it appear slightly distressed. However, honestly, I wouldn't change a thing. LOVE IT! Gorgeous.
