I made five of these cards. I always have trouble coloring Fluffles. I see other people’s cards, and he always looks great, but I am never happy with the way mine turn out. I left him for last today. I tried markers and tossed out the first image. I pulled out my colored pencils since I have more control with those. I was happier with the way they turned out this time. I know I should go back in and do a bit more shading, but I am afraid of ruining another card.

I made the red mat by tracing around the die that I used to cut out the focal image. Then I fussy cut it. It helped to use temporary tape to hold the die in place as I traced around it with a pencil. The process went much faster and with no slips.
