I made this card for my new nephew's First Christmas. I used a background I made a long time ago, and I thought it worked well for the card I had in mind. The background was an experiment to see how alcohol ink would work on regular cardstock instead of glossy. It really soaked into the cardstock, and I ended up using a lot of ink so after making a few pieces, I stopped. Jennifer McGuire recently posted a good video tutorial using them this way that made me think I should reconsider.
I knew I wanted to make this card when I saw a card April Williams posted on Artsy Inkers in January of this year.
