The poem:
Walk a little slower, Daddy
Said a little chid so small
I'm following in your footsteps
And I don't want to fall.
Sometimes your steps are very fast,
Sometimes they're hard to see;
So walk a little slower, Daddy
For you are leading me.
Someday when I'm all grown up
You're what I wnat to be
Then I will have a little child
Who'll wnat to follow me.
And I would want to lead just right
And know that I was true;
So walk a little slowerr, Daddy
For I must follow you.
This is one of my favorite children's poems. When my daughter sent me this photo, I knew instantly what I wanted to do with it. It's pretty plain, but sometimes a layout just doesn't need "more" to make it cool! I love that she's dragging her teddy bear along behind her!
