Photos are from a recent sledding/skiing trip in Tahoe. - All circle accents were mounted on Fun Foam for dimension. - Background was distressed with white inkpad. - Title circle was printed in Word, mounted on Fun Foam, then transparency. Then, snowflake buttons were mounted onto edges of transparency. This was to make it easier to move the whole title accent around. - Made the background borders with strips of cardstock and solid paper (couldn't find a pp with the right colors). JOURNALING: "Apprehensive, uncomfortable, scared. Sledding was not the fun, exciting experience we hoped it would be for you two. The sledding hill was far too steep for you at 20 months old and not even 3’ tall. Sorry about that. Sometimes we grown-ups forget how big the world seems to you. We have to remember to get down to your height and look up. Then I’m sure, we’d completely empathize with your point of view and see a mountain, not a hill. But hey, playing with Mommy’s new shades was loads of fun. So much so that you girls would not let Mommy have them back. Note to self: buy girls cool-lookin’ shades, not the cutesy little pink ones with flowers and butterflies.
