Very beautiful LO. Thank you for sharing about your precious cat. I'm sorry that happened. I always tell myself I shall see my beloved animal friends again when I get to heaven. God can do anything He wants to, and I believe they will be there too. Bless you, and may your love for your kitty always warm your heart. Celia
what a beautiful page, so sorry about the kitty, she was gorgeous and you have paid tribute to her nicely! As for those nasty neighbors, how people can do that to something so sweet...., well Karma never forgets, and it will come back in spades!
Oh Susanne... this just breaks my heart. How people can live with themselves after mistreating an animal (and especially such a beautiful one as Tusse) is beyond my comprehension... This is such a special memory for you of your beloved kisse katte, and your beautiful page is a fitting tribute to him. I thank you with all my heart for sharing it with us...
This is so sad and hits home with me, I have had my sweet kitty since I was 15 he looks just like this cat only white with light gray tips on his ears, nose, legs, and tail, he was my therapy cat through my teenage years and is my sweet little guy my husband knows that if I had to choose he would be out the door lol!
I really love all of the sweet little trinkets youve added and that amazing layered flower!
The feel of this page is lovely & soft,I like the colors and all the elements you used....fish, ribbon, pawprint....very pretty. I am sorry you had to go through this with him. You made a wonderful page to remember him by.
This is a layout about my beloved cat, Tusse. It was a therapy for me to do this because he was so loved and precious for us and especially for me when I was a teenager. It's a hidden journaling under the photo and I have written there how much he means for me when he was alive, and he still does after so many years. He came to us as a summercat at the summer 1977 and he decided to stay with us for 4 years and died 1981. He was so much beloved for us and he was an outdoor cat and he lived a free life with us, but some of the neighboors was not so satisfied with him then he walked over their gardens on his way to his forrest. They don't like that at all, so they give him rat poison a couple of times, they hit him and kick him so many times that we couldn't stay out with that and to see him so frighten and chocked when he came home to us after they had did that to him. One day my parents decided to put him to death because we couldn't stand out and it's hurts so much to see him so suffered at those moments when he came home after that those peoples has did that to him. But me and my family will never forget him and he will always live in our hearts.
I painted the cardstock with distressers and added punchinella and a neat that I've painted. I stamped birds and added feathers because that says a lot of his personality and the free cat he was. The title letters (his name) is embossed with clear and hologram sparkle embossing powder. The 2 hearts is also painted with distressers. I also added some rub ons and I've handmaded the swirls. I added some stickles and I also added glossy accents on the petals. The stickles are differents colours but it doesn't shows so well when I scanned as well as the glossy accents on the petals. The layout shows more colorful and sparkle IRL and I'm so sorry for the bad scanning and for the wrong colors on his tail. :-( Excuse me for my bad english here! ;-)
