I wanted this picture of my fil reading to ds to be special. my fil doesn't let many pics be taken of himself since he got sick. He doesn't want anyone to remember him that way. This is a precious one to me and I'm sure it will be to Evan later on.
Journaling reads.. When your papaw was going through radiation, it was all he could do to stay awake, but when you showed up, he was right there for you. He wanted to spend some time with you so we went out to the car and got your favorite book. The Wiggles sing along. Papaw had never even heard of the songs, but he read every single one of them to you. It killed his throat, but he did it. No amount of pain is going to keep him from spending time with his grandson. You are the love of his life Evan. Always remember that.
