This was me and my 5th grade cheerleading team. I had a blast. hidden journaling reads: For some reason, in 5th grade I thought it would be a good idea to go out for cheerleader. I could not do a cartwheel and I wasn’t what you’d call popular. But I guess I could yell cause I made the team! My mom had to work so she wasn’t there for try-outs, but when she came to pick me up, she gave me my first stereo and told me congratulations! I said, “ well what if I didn’t make it?” she said “well then it would have been a great try gift.” We worked very hard that summer learning the cheers and dance routines. It was so much fun, but so hot I lost an inch and a half in my waist and they had to fix my uniform! I will never forget my time as a Barling Bobcat!
