SHCG: What a great photo. I luv the joy on her face making the title perfect. The mini photo strips are like watching a little video. Great choice of paper.
SHCG: Love this! You totally rocked the multiple pics on this one! The whole "series shot" thing is awesome! Totally love the colors on it. The only thing I might change is to add a mat to the center photo.
SHCG: This is a lovely page, Melizza. I actually like that you didn't go matchy matchy with the colors in the photos. I love the frame-by-frame approach you took with your subject. Placement of all your photos and embellishments go very well against that pretty bg pp. I like how the stamped flourishes work to fill up the space behind the main photo, but I'd still like to see it matted with rounded corners to correspond with your circles and in the same color as your date tab. Some gold inking around the black mat might add a nice touch, too. I also think one sentence of journaling, perhaps on vellum, will help to fill in the wide margins of the red pp. I'm dying to know what she got that has her so ecstatic. Once again, sorry about my critique coming ten days after your post.
SHCG: Wow, this page is stunning. Your multiple photo design is very cool and tells such a wondeful story. I love your use of color and at first glance I did not have any suggestions so I had to look again, so saying this suggestion is that only a suggestion and would not be needed. I think a green phot mat behind the center picture would make it pop off the page a little more and draw the viewer's attention right into that picture.
SHCG: Melissa, you and I are so similar in our color schemes and likes. Everytime I see one of your layouts, it feels familiar and comfortable to me. :-) I love the paper you used, and I love the layout. Did you use your new camera for this? It looks like you used burst or rapid fire mode for the pics. I love all of the little ones around the bigger one in the middle. I'm with Sharon in that I do crave a little bit of journaling on the layout. Also, I'd like to have that middle photo mounted on either black or red (the same as the joy word). I love this and think you did an amazing job!
SHCG - Wonderful page, Melizza! Like Denitzza, I too wish I could zoom in more to see her all cute 'n excited like that, & to see what she got too! I love the rich colors, the small pics-round-the-big-pic design, swirlies, date tab & corner words, all of it. Only thing I can think of is I would like a sentence or so saying something about the night (e.g. "Tia's mom was so happy to receive a ____ but she REALLY went through the roof when she unwrapped the ____!"), may in the form of a tiny journaling strip under the pic or something. But I wouldn't want to disrupt the existin loveliness, plus the pics convey plenty of the story as is, so that's just an idea. Super LO!
SHCG: I love this one! I love the photo placement and that you manage to use so many photos.Love the colors and the title-just the right touch of red.The only thing -I wish i can zoom on the lo even more so I can see her face-she looks so surprised and happy with what she got! Great job!
SHCG: this looks great! it's very simple, but there is so much going on inside that square! I love all of the little pictures. I really love the picture you chose to use bigger in the middle, and the flourishes around it. The title looks great (it may just be the picture or scan, but the y looks a little higher up than the rest). I like the color choices, the whole christmas theme. I like that you didnt use to many embellishments.. the pp does it all. awesome LO
This LO is of Tia's mom on Christmas Eve when we exchanged presents. I really like the way this page turned out though now that I'm looking at it I might have wanted to go with a different color scheme due to the colors in the pictures.
