Journaling: Dear Harper, You are so small and innocent right now at just three weeks old. Your life is just beginning, but already I feel as if I have known you always. Perhaps I have, and I just had to wait a while to see your beautiful eyes, touch your soft skin, breathe in your sweet smell, kiss your rosebud lips, and feel your soft breath on my cheek. As you grow I am sure we will have our battles, but I promise to try to see your side. We will have our differences, but I promise to let you walk your own path. We will even have fights, but I promise never to go to bed without making up. Life is too short to stay angry at those you care about. And most of all I promise to love you with all my heart. Wait…I already do.
