For week 3 of the monthly sketch challenge-with the twist: Use something old with something new. I pulled out my QuicKuts hand tool and Newsclips dies for my 'old' and I used the Pink Paisley ribbon pleats that I won on NSD for my 'new'.
The pics are of my ds on his 21st birthday waiting outside Mellon Arena for the doors to open and the other is of the jumbo tron with his name during the first intermission.
I really wish the glitter cs photographed better. It matches the Penguins Vegas Gold perfectly IRL.
Journaling reads: The weeks leading up to your 21st birthday, we repeatedly asked you what you wanted. Your response was always the same..."I want to see Malkin play at Mellon Arena". So, that's what we did.
