Give a Cheer
A lot of the games have theme nights and this one was 'Dress Like Mike Day'.
I fussy cut the strip of cartoon players and Coach Carey from the bottom of the Basketball Bingo card I had from that game and the mustache is an extra that I had because, well I knew I would want one for this page and I kinda, sorta took an extra from the table.
Journaling reads: The Dress Like Mike Day was inevitable! Coach Mike Carey has such a defining look; blue pants, white WV polo, clean and precise haircut, and that famous graying mustache!
The staff does such a great job at getting the fans involved and giving them themes and freebies that are keepsakes in the making. Everyone was given a Carey-ish mustache, Basketball Bingo cards, and WV pencils.
The Basketball Bingo is hard, though. Neither Robert nor I were able to complete the bingo cards we were given. After the first period, we both had given up the fight. It was worth a shot, though.
The mustaches were a huge hit. Cailet and Emma played with theirs most of the game and found funny ways to use them.
A truly memorable game night.
