This is my contribution to Virtual Crop Weekly's one-year anniversary party. This is margherita pizza. I have posted my pizza recipe already, (further along in my gallery) and this is my basic recipe topped with Contadina pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, thinly-sliced Roma tomatoes, a sprinkling more of cheese, and a healthy pinch of basil. Usually I also drizzle EVOO (extra-virgin olive oil) on it, but I ran out as I made the dough.
