The pumpkin in these photos, I painted myself. It took three days and several coats of paint. And my dad laughed at me because it took so long. But the wait was well worth it, I think. Jory was at the height of his VeggieTale obsession. The journaling reads: "This year was a little bit different. For starters, we had a pumpkin that I'd painted instead of carved. Jory loves VeggieTales, so Bob and Larry adorned our pumpkin. Then we met up with a friend of Jory's and his mom for dinner at McDonald's followed by trick-or-treating in a [Kansas] neighborhood. Jory made an adorable skeleton!"
