This is my first attempt with the Mickey & Friends cartridge. I didn't have the right shade of peach for Mickey's face, so Mickey looks a bit Latino, but that's alright. I cut out Mickey, layered him, Xyroned him, and then cut an inch-and-a-half off of the cover of the card. I glued the left half of Mickey down so that the right half hung off the card. Oh, and yes, I meant to make him taller to hang off the card on three sides. I really like it that way. :o) I used Opposites Attract to weld Jeremy's name in coordinating black, and while you can't see it, I also welded "Happy Birthday" and put it on the inside of the card. I think this cart has so many great possibilities. Jory asked me to make an 11x11 Mickey for one of the teachers' classrooms. (The teacher who loves Mickey he had last year, he's still thinking about making things for her.)
