I made this page when my husband (who was my fiance at the time) was deployed to Iraq. The journaling reads:
Adam's National Guard unit, the 3664th went on active duty on Dec. 7, 2003. They left for Fort Dix, NJ on Dec. 11, 2003. The troops were allowed to come home for Christmas on Dec. 23, 2003. These pictures are from Dec. 28, 2003, the day they all flew back to NJ. It is unknown at this time where the 3664th will be stationed once deployed overseas. One thing is for sure. Adam is and will always be...my hero.
