This was last hike I did with my Mom and dad when they visited in 2004. Their health is not allowing for hiking as much as they were used to do so this was a very special day. The journaling reads: My parents took me hiking to the
mountains ever since I was born.
We spent most weekends exploring
new trails or revisiting our old
favorites. The hardest thing about
moving out of their place and thousands
of miles away was giving up the
adventures and precious family
time. Snoqualmie Falls were always kind
of special for me – it was the first trip
my husband took me on when
we first started dating. When
my parents came to visit us
in September 2004 I was
thrilled to take them on this hike.
It's fairly easy, just 1 mile down to
the falls so that they could do it even
though they health is not as good as it
used to be. I usually don't do just 1 mile
hikes since they're too short for me
but this time it was the most
wonderful, most beautiful and absolutely
priceless mile of my life.

Thaks for taking a peek.
