OUR STORY

When I was younger I would never guess I will meet my future husband clubbing. Not only didn’t I go clubbing too often, when I did I found most of the guys there…. well lets say completely brainless and way too different from the types I’d like to on a date with – which probably explains why I didn’t go clubbing much at the first place.

Then I moved to America and even though I was somewhat curious what American night life is about, none of my friends then were too interested and I didn’t make the extra effort to push the issue.

That changed during my 7th month here when I met Johanne, a friend from South Africa, and together we set up for an adventure to explore American club scene. We found nice place downtown Everett called Turner’s that seems to be the place at that time, busy, noisy, crowded…. We actually had a great time so we decided to go again next Saturday.

That’s when I met Chad who went out that evening to celebrate his birthday (Which I didn’t know until the following weekend) and we are together ever since.

Saturday - December 29, 2001 – Day we met

Saturday - January 12, 2002 – First trip – to Snoqualmie Falls
Sunday – February 3, 2002 – Met Chad’s parents (during Superbowl party)
Wednesday – May 8, 2002 – Moved in with Chad
Monday – December 30, 2002 – Got engaged at the Spaceneedle, Seattle WA
Friday – January 17, 2003 – Got Married
