When I take insects photos, I only take macro shots. My camera can go down to 3 centimeters (don't know what that is in inches) -and it does it well! If shutter speed is, what I think it is, I usually do it in 60 or 125, which works fine for me. All insect shots, is taken with my Nikon Coolpix 5700.
Again. Beautiful body of work. I really appreciate your dedication and patience. This is not easy work to do. Insects flit, hop and disappear quickly. You have done an amazing job of observing what's small and honoring it's beauty. Great picture of flies with little beetles nestled in the yellow flower, the grasshopper with it's dropping, and the spider with the dandelion fluff in it's web. You made my day.
