(I'm putting the same comments for all the journaling close-ups). Awesome journaling - love the researched details! My one tiny desire is that I would've loved to see you tie in your words about color traits to the traits of your kids, you know? Eg talk about a few things that Jake does that reflect the "blue" meanings. These intimate pics of your children's eyes just make me wanna know more about them, the cuties. I love how you start each w/ "Let me tell you about..." - I am visualizing you in Mommy mode, talking to them, such a treasure. Awesome how you inked these in their respective colors & great font too. ETA - Scratch this! I now see you had your kids' characteristics stamped off to the side in the different colors.
Jacob Llewellyn, let me tell you about your blue eyes. Blue is calm and cool: It can be strong and steadfast or light and friendly. Nature of Blue: A natural color, from the blue of the sky, blue is a universal color. The cool, calming effect of blue makes time pass more quickly and it can help you sleep. Culture of Blue: In many diverse cultures blue is significant in religious beliefs, brings peace, or is believed to keep bad spirits away. -about.com
