You have such an eye for making different fonts work in one title, and such a knack for coming up with the most endearing titles. You did such a great job with this challenge giving those old pps an updated look. I bet most people never would have known how old the stash pieces are, had you not shared. I also love that you wrote the time/setting in the paper clips like that. Great colors here, too, especially against the b/w photo.
Love the photo matt, great colours!! The colour and fonts of the journaling make for an interesting look and the border around the main word is very clever. The hidden journaling works well cos if it was on the page it wouldnt have the right balance. But my most favourite thing on this layout is how you've journaled in the paper clips, looks awesome!!
First, your photo is beautiful; soft and classic. Your juxtaposing that with colour, lots of it, is just right, especially since it's across all of the elements, from the pp to the paper clips to the journaling. Beautiful ecclectic/collagey feel to this!
I love the paper clips and the dates in the clips, great idea! I also love the title. I do however think this LO needs something more. Maybe some around the edge doodling. A straight line with a few tiny hearts, then straight line again around the outside maybe.
OMG where do I start?! You make that old stash paper look so fresh, combined w/ the light background & awesome assorted elements. Love the strips, the clips, file folder & that adorable stapled HEART! Excellent medley of various fonts. Brilliant job!
Oh tiff! this is absolutely amazing. I love this title. all of the different fonts look great together. Love the hidden journaling. putting the date in those paperclips was so creative (and perfect). You made that old paper look great. Love it, love it, love it
Tiff I love this! The colors are soo rich and I love the paperclips and how you wrote in them. The title has soo much depth with all of that stamping. Wouldn't chANge a thing.
the first man a litle girl falls in love with is her papi
This is for Sharon's Stashoffont Challenge. Stashoffont=Something from your old STASH, an OFfice supply, and one word with two types of FONT.
This paper is OLD. The colored papers are from Hot of the Press' Paper Pizazz. (Told you it was old!) The office supplies are the staples in the ribbon heart, the paper clips with the location and date, and (thanks, Melissa!) a manila folder painted green for the journaling. The font....I used a bunch of different alpha stamps, but specifically the word love uses SU! whimsical and SU! best friends.
Hidden journaling says, "You are such an amazing papi to all of our children, but espcially to our little girls. You treat them with love, respect, & kindness. You are the man that they will measure all others against. You are their papi!"
Edited to add: ahhhhh, darn! I just realized I put August 2007. It was August 2006.
