I never knew that tradition symbolized so much...doesn't say much for stuffing it in each others face:) Great page, I agree with Becky I like the textured one.
btw--i didn't point this out on the other one----I LOVE the brown, pulling out the chocolate. My vote still goes with the textured one, but I had to mention it as long as I am here. :)
Us, cutting our cake, yes we both LOVE chocolate. This cake was sooooo rich in chocolate, I mean, all chocolate layers with chunks of chocolate throughout and peanut butter in between the layers with the most delicious chocolate icing......YUMMM! That is, if you love chocolate!! So anyway, my husband and I did not MASH each other with wedding cake...I'm not fond of that and besides, learned the meaning of the "cake cutting and feeding". It may seem boring (I find it to be classier) but this is always the advice I give my brides while helping them plan their weddings.....Journaling: The cutting then offering of the wedding cake to each other is a symbol of how the couple will display gentleness and care in the marriage and defines the trust and respect they will give to one another throughout their lives as husband and wife. This tradition holds much history, yet gives much insight of the future for two lives joined as one.
