hey talking about stoves, ladies any school that has home economics, well they trade theirs in every year, those are great deals, they don't use them much, and they sell very cheap. Call your local schools and find out when local dealers pick up used stoves and fridges.. your best bet.
Cheryl. You are too funny. I'm not so sure it is glamourours, but since I make cookie bouquets, I needed to have something that would bake nicely. I haven't made cookies yet, but I have made a cake. It bakes so evenly and nice. So far, I really like it. The smooth top takes a little to get used to. I have a hard time, not sliding the pans from the hot burner to the cold burner. I have to admit...we got a super duper deal on this stove as well. We went to this place called Spencer's here in AZ (only). They gave us $250 trade in from the stove the builder put in. We got a $50 rebate from Maytag, and it was on sale. I think we paid $450 for it and it is almost a $900 stove. Watch for sales if you want one.
This is my stove. My cabinets all match...they aren't this light on the bottom, the flash didn't work well I guess. This is the Maytag 5.2 cubic feet oven. It has the rack that you can cook a turkey under. It also has the coil under the bottom of the stove so it will be easier to clean. It also cooks more evenly. I am ordering another flat rack so I can have three rows of cookies going at one time when I get back into my cookie making.
