Journaling reads- This is my mom's cat Baby, but originally he was my baby. I adopted him from the Humane Society many years ago. From the moment I saw him it was love at first sight. I remember it as if it were yesterday, he peered through the little bars on this cage and rolled on his back as soon as he saw me. He pushed his lttle paws outside of the cage as if to reach out to me and ask me to take him home. He had the most beautiful eyes, one blue and the other green. How could you resist such an adorable face? I immediately applied to adopt him and was approved within days. I was so happy to receive the call that I could come and pick him up. From the moment I brought him home we were best buds and considered him my baby, so that's the name he ended up with. After my grandmother passed away my family had reccomended I move in with my grandpa to be a comfort to him. However, grandpa had a miniture Pomeranian that was only about five pounds. Baby on the other hand was quite a hefty cat and seemed to find much amusement in trying to terrorize the little dog Precious. For the dogs safty my mom offered to care for my cat till I moved out. It was a sad time for me but I was happy to know that Baby had transitioned well and had grown quite fond of her boyfriend Bill. Bill had to put his cat Midnight to sleep, so he loved the attention he received from Baby. They had grown so close that I could never take Baby away from them so he is now a permanet member of their household. However, he will always be my Baby.
