wow!! love all the layering. This is beautifully done. (oh my gosh - the burns could have been so much worse. what a terrible experience for all of you to go thru.)
wow, the layout design is stunning ... and then I read the journaling...so glad she wasn't hurt worse than she was. She's smiling in the photo, and looks just adorable.
Lol about the journaling card! Don't worry about it, just glad you could use it. ;) omg to the story! So glad it wasn't as bad as it could've been. Scars tell stories. I have a huge one on my face and it doesn't bother me, it makes me unique. Ok, so that layering- wowza!!!
Ok first off the moment must have been so scary for you and definitely hard to scrap! But you made a stunning layout with this! The layering is amazing!
This is AMAZING! I can't even imagine the time all those layers took but they are stunning. This may be something I will try on a picture of my grandma... Reminds me of a garden.
Stunning!!! At first I thought your scallop circles were all together like an edge punch.. you've got a lot of patience to ink and place each one of these! Your work has paid off. This is beautiful!
Oh my!!! That had to be so scary! My heart jumped when I read what happened! So glad everything turned out ok! As for your page, I love the overlapped pieces, they make a really pretty bg! <3
What a scary moment that must have been; so, so glad that everything turned out okay!!!!
Your layout is so beautiful; I love your layers and layers of scallops and colored borders and that sweet cluster of flowers and vines!!!!
For the Music Inspiration challenge I was given the song Don't Try So Hard by Amy Grant. I used the line "You're lovely even with your scars" as my part of the journaling and the title. For journaling challenge cat 2 - 50+ words Also for die cutters: scalloped circles, borders doily, flowers, and title cut on cameo; journaling on cameo with sketch pens; leaves cut on evolution. For AGC dailies: 4 - use all letters in emergency room (I used the phrase in the journaling); 9 - use oldest hoarded item in stash (All the papers in the circles, the vellum for the doily, and the little butterfly have been in my stash since before I started scrapbooking, when I was a card maker); 20 - girls only project
The journaling card was an RAK from Mrs Miller - thank you! She was kind enough to include a card with the product names, and I will add that to my list as soon as I find where I put it for safe keeping (you know, so I wouldn't lose it!)
Journaling reads: One of the worst days of my life was the day you pulled Gramdma's hot electric skillet, full of supper, over on your head. I plopped you in the sink full of water and green beans, then took you to the emergency room. Fortunately Grandma had just added water to the pan, and it had no grease so your scars were not all permanent. Still you were (lovely) even with your scars and you still are!
