You were probably wondering where the cake was.
I look at your expression and I think about all the changes that you have undergone in the last year. Only a year ago we were just starting potty training. You were still in a crib. You were taking afternoon naps. You drank from a sippy cup. You still toddled when you ran. You were a little apprehensive around your relatives. You were one of the youngest kids at daycare. You said ”uppie” and had your padoo.
I wonder how the time has gone by so fast and what will come in the next year.
