Captured another interesting conversation with Molly.
the journaling reads:
Every day brings new discovery. For some time we have talked about the moon and the stars and how the earth slowly turns to face away from the sun. We’ve talked about the stages of the moon and why you can’t always see the stars at night. Tonight you made a new discovery. We had to run some errands on our way home from daycare, so it was darker than usual on our ride home. You looked out the window at the moon and exclaimed, “Mommy I beat the moon.” I replied, “huh?” You explained that you were still awake and outside so you beat the moon before you went to bed. We continued on our way home. A few moments later you exclaimed “Mommy, the moon is following me, we have to race it home.” The excitement in your voice and the joy on your face really struck me. As soon as we got home I had to get out the camera and get a picture of the moon. I hope you will always have the confidence and energy to race against the moon.
