This was our DS' first trip to the ocean. In November 2003, my family rented a beach house in Northern CA for Thanksgiving week. It was a cold week and we were only able to spend one day on the beach, but James made the best of it! I never expected my 3 year old to strip down to his underware to play in the sand and the surf! In the middle of winter!! BRRRR!! But he never even noticed, being so enthralled with the waves!!
