A flower gift that won't die!!! My 16 month old DD and I made this for Daddy...The flowers were cut on my cricut and then attached together with a brass fastener.. We then attached it to a drinking straw. Using a folded piece of green card which is cut in a leaf shape, we idd the leaves-this is attached along the fold behind the straw. The vase was made using an empty jam jar and stickers, foam shapes, paper shapes and glue. These were randomly placed by my DD (I just kept turning the jar!) all over. I then took a ribbon and , using contact adhesive, stuck it to the rim of the jar. We then used a glue gun to drop some glue into the bottom of the jar, I held the bottom end of the straw in this until it set. Once dry I filled the jar with tissue paper in two shades of pink.( You could use sand or pebbles instead) I wrote out a message for the back of the flower and stuck it on.
This makes a great Mother's/ Father's Day gift or even just for someone special -like Grandma!!! TFL and I hope I have made it clear enough to follow for those who would like to make it.
