This is the annual courthouse lighting that we have in our town. It is truly one of those sweet small town events. The crowd gathers around the courthouse singing carols, eating popcorn and drinking hot chocolate that local churches give out, and waiting for Santa to arrive and "turn on the lights." It is amazingly beautiful. We love it! They even have a nativity with camels, donkeys, and sheep to pet.
