This really hits a tender spot in my heart. I no longer have the machine that I used to sew almost all of our window treatments, kids Halloween costumes, etc., etc.. GREAT JOURNALING!
Wow Deb, your journaling is so touching. I think she's beautiful and would make a wonderful conversation piece if you could find her a nice little corner to retire in. You made a gorgeous LO for her, maybe you can jazz her up a little area in the house. I'm just sayin. I have my grandma's old singer out, Your's really has so much more character.
Such a retro looking sewing machine! Wow. My first sewing machine was an old metal Singer. It was a flat silver color. Thing would knot up in a heart beat! Fabulous subject to scrap. Awesome LO.
Awesome layout! I can so identify with it....My first machine was an $88 Singer...then my hubby bought me a Sears brand...and one of DD's is still using it! lol! My Elna (which is about 25 yrs old) is still running pretty good...although I don't use it very often...I miss it sometimes....
What a beauty she is! Can't she take a place around the house as a part of your decor??! I feel sorry for her! Love your story about how you made everything on this machine! Beautiful Tribute to an awesome looking Machine, known for being a Blessing to your family!
Created using June's kit from My Creative Scrapbook! I simply adored all the pretty goodies in the kit this month!! Thanks so much for taking a peek :-)

oops! I just noticed there are some typo's in the journaling, so will have to fix that!
