This is my first try at altering anything other than a CD. My kiddos had some old school supplies from last year laying around and honestly, I got tired of moving them from one place to another to get them out of the way. So I thought I'd try altering DD's clipboard as a gift for my mother. She's really helped us out a great deal lately, and I just want her to know how much I appreciate all that she's done. This doesn't seem nearly enough of a thank you for the way she's been there for me, especially over the last few months but it comes from my heart, and I know she will appreciate that more than anything. Those white kind of lacy flowers are actually appliqués that my mom gave to me in a whole bag of extra stuff she had lying around her sewing room. I thought she could hang this by her Telephone, or in her sewing room to write her "lists" on. She's always writing lists. The list pad is one that she also gave to me that another friend of hers gave to her. I felt a little guilty for taking it because it was supposed to be a gift to her. I guess it's now being "regifted" lol. She's got a lot of these little type memo pads around. But now I'll bet this will be her favorite one!
