I must say this is a great layout to do and I'm so glad you were able to do it. I also have dealt with depression and anxiety for several years, I am now on Effexor and it seems to be working well for me. I'm glad that you are living a happy life now and I hope it stays that way. I was thinking of doing a page similar to this. I saw in the gallery that somene did a layout on their Bi-Polar disorder and I thought it was fantastic. Great job!!
Great job putting together this LO. Proud of you for doing something most people wouldn't attempt...it's inspirational. Sending hugs to you..& putting the LO in my faves.
Bravo to you for being brave and writing about yourself - I find just getting the stuff in your head out on paper really helps. It's great to see you looking after you, I wish you every success. :)
Fab LO on something most people hide away. It is a difficult subject matter to scrap about(I have done a few on it myself), but I firmly believe scrapping is about capturing our whole lives, not just the pretty stuff.
Hat off to you for doing this
*hugs* from a fellow sufferer.
this was the MOST DIFFICULT page i have ever done. but i decided to do it for a couple reasons: i want people (family and friends especially) to understand all of me, not just the good happy fuzzy stuff. the other reason i had to do it was for myself--it is so hard to not be ashamed of this disease, so i needed to express it in a way that is beautiful. i also realized when i was done that this page does not seem very personal, and i think it's because i have realized that depression is not who i am, it is just one small part of me. thanks so much for looking, i am so joyful to be able to share this with you all! i used 2 colors of blue cardstock (printed on my computer), metal letter tags, and tiny silver brads.
