What a fantastic layout to show what we are all going through during this time. You really captured this moment in time. Great layout it has inspired me to also scrapbook this time. Thanks for the inspiration.
Your journaling is great as it describes the new norm for the world. Love the design and how you used the strip photos. I have so many of them now I have an idea as how to scrap them. Beautiful LO!
This is a great layout. You have really had a lot of changes to go through. The only real change that has effected us has been that we can't travel (had several trips cancelled) and we eat out 4-5 times a week and now we can't. Being retired, if we aren't eating out or traveling, we are home anyway so life has pretty much gone on as normal for us. Tomorrow restaurants open for dine-in eating!
Long time no see!! Welcome back. I took off for a few years too :) Life in lockdown is DEFINITELY not fun times...glad you all are coping. Things seem to be getting better here. Some business will be opening again tomorrow. Love how you've documented this time..a really good layout!
This is a layout about what it's been like so far in lock down. I wanted to use rainbow colours as in the UK, the rainbow is being used to show support for our NHS and all the doctors, nurses and care givers who are risking their lives for us. All papers used are scraps from a range of BoBunny and WeRMemory Keepers collections. The photos as just some of the things that have become my new 'normal' - daily exercise, taking up new hobbies, working from home, and using Zoom to 'meet' friends, family and for other activities.
Journalling: Life has certainly been different since Covid-19 hit the UK. Schools closed on Friday 20th March and so my home office became my new classroom. Lockdown measures have gradually become more restrictive and so now we are used to leaving the house only once a day for exercise, or to go and buy essential supplies. Washing our hands constantly, using antibacterial hand lotion and wiping down the groceries has become our new ‘normal', especially with Scott shielding due to his ulcerative colitis. Zoom has become my primary way of keeping in touch with people, with Church, Kids' Church, King's Club and Dance Fit all being done using the platform. To fill our time at home, we've watched a lot of movies, I've been baking scones (and one awful coffee cake), started sketching for the first time in years and have been taking part in online, virtual quizzes. We are fine in lockdown, and have established a routine, but we are looking forward to when this is all over and we can be with family and friends again. May 2020
