Journaling: A trip to Illinois to visit Dad & Flora wouldn't be complete without eating at the Beef House. As the nicest, largest restaurant around, the Beef House is always super busy. But I think it's also because of their rolls. They bake them on site and they may be the most delicious thing I've ever had. The muffin shaped rolls are served warm with apple butter. This trip was John's first time, so we had our fill then took some home to snack on later. Oh and the beef is pretty darn good too.

Ther "Permission Slip" reads: Shannon & John are hereby granted permission to eat as many Beef House rolls as humanly possible, eat giant steaks and experience no guilt!
