WOW, what fantastic details you created. The trellis you designed is so perfect and looks like the one in the photo!! Love all those cute embellies like the old fashion bike, fan, car just to name a few!!!!
Oh. My. Goodness. What a beautiful and so creative heritage layout!!! Love the bricks and trellis and butterflies and vines and your incredible journaling, all fussy cut and place perfectly around the page.
I don't think I've ever seen that picture. It's a really good picture of Aunt Estelle and uncle JB. I love how you did the trellis but man!..that's a lot of fussy cutting, but it all looks really cool. Love this!
This is wonderful! I love your trellis and vine. The little flowers and butterflies are so cute. It’s a great old photo and your journaling tells a story. I love all of it!
Journaling reads: "The only time I remember visiting Aunt Estelle and Uncle J.B. was May 1974. Uncle J.B. was Daddy's older brother. Uncle J.B. was very soft-spoken and quiet, while Aunt Estelle was the more outgoing one. I always thought Aunt Estelle was a bit eccentric because she was always wearing a dress. However, I did admire the beauty of her fabulous talent on the piano. They did have a wonderful backyard, where I'm sure they spent timeless hours of happiness."
All of the little words in the journaling and embellies were cut from K & Company's Urban collection pp. I tried to emulate the trellis from the background of the photo. The trellis was made by embossing a piece of white cardstock with a woodgrain pattern. The bricks along the bottom were embossed on pink paper from the Urban set. The flowers were fussy cut from Urban pp. The large tree was done with a stencil and the bush with a stamp. The leaves were stamped. The small butterflies and flowers on the tree were punched from the pink pp. The tree limbs on overlapping the trellis were die cuts.
