Journaling reads:
This is me (Betty) at about 16 years old. In the top photo, I’m napping with Gypsy, Karen and Rod’s dog. In the bottom photo I’m napping with our little dog Honi. Circa 1975

I really struggled with this page - first of all the colors in the two photos were so different. That made it very hard to find pp that would hopefully pull it all together. I'm still not so sure I love what I chose, but, it is done. The pps are a mix of Close to My Heart, assorted scraps from my boxes and Basic Grey's Mint Julep collection. For the hexies, I used Stampin' Up's hexie punch. The circle is cut by hand with scallop scissors. I used a tiny attacher to put the yellow lace on. The large rick rack I bought at the local sewing store years ago - I used glue dots to attach it. I used an assortment of sticker letters for the title and added a couple of rub ons and some doodling with a brown pen. Thanks so much for stopping by :)
