Journaling reads: This is Mama and Daddy just after getting home from the Easter service at Teamon Baptist Church in Griffin, Georgia. Ruth and E.P. Perdue circa 1990

I used lots of punches and die cuts for this page. Other than the ones listed below, I also used Martha Stewart Cornflower punch and pinked circle punch, the four leaf flower is by Stampin' Up, one other small flower punch (EK Success?) and Firefly flower and leaf die on the cuttlebug. I love the die cut flowers because they appear to have dimension with the extra cuts and embossing. I finished the flowers with assorted buttons and brads. Then I added three colors of twine around the side of the aqua mat and placed the gold rick rack across the top. The journaling lines were drawn using a navy zig pen and a Journal Genie. I used a white Signo pen to highlight the edges of one navy flower. The larger gold flower was stamped with more mustard ink(Stampin' Up) to give it a pattern (hampton art hot fudge studio clear stamp). The aqua paper was also stamped with a tempting turquoise ink(Stampin' Up) and I also added little bits of that ink to the white background. Thanks so much for stopping by :)
