This lo is about my oldest son Chris. I did this one for the imperfect lives (against all odds) challenge. I uses one picture, three snaps. Journaling reads: These words are powerful. Chris, you are a nine year old boy who struggles to find the good in yourself. These are the words you came up with when asked to make a list of what you like about yourself. For most people this would be easy, but for you it was very hard. These words give me hope that one day you will believe that you are all these things and so much more. The odds are stacked against you. This year you were diagnosed with ADD & ODD. You are having a hard time at school and also here at home. There are so many times that I look at you and see so much pain and sadness, no child should have to feel this way or go through the things you have. You have had a hard life and so much loss in your life, but I want you to know that we love you and that we will never let you go. Chris, you are our son and we are here to help youget through this dark time in your life. We chose you and I hope someday you will understand how special that makes you. You are going to beat the odds and we will help to remind you how loved you are. Tabs read: artistic, funny, fast, helpful, smart, caring, athletic, strong, creative, kind, handsome, friendly.
