In years past, the local United Way has given artist a chance to exhibit there talent and raise funds at the same time. In 2005, "Bench Fairies" was the theme. Although there were many lovely fairies exhibited, this one was the one that took my breath away. On each of the fairy's wings were hand painted quotes of some of the most significant people in history. To think that someone took the time to paint each phrase on the wings was enough to win my vote for best fairy. TFL!
