Journaling:
After three years of trying, we were finally pregnant! On Memorial Day 2003, I woke up and took another pregnancy test that I had no reason to believe would be anything other than negative, again. I brushed my teeth and almost walked out of the bathroom without checking the results. When I realized it was positive, I cried. I cried so much that Michael thought something was wrong. I drove to the store and bought two more tests - I needed reassurance. When we were sure it was real we wasted no time in telling our families. We used the "We're Having a Baby" lotto ticket because I actually worked on the graphic layout at my job. It was exciting to watch the reactions to our news and the fun way we delivered it.
