This is a layout about the town I live in- I've seen several like this on here and thought it was a cool idea. My mom and I went out last summer and took these pictures of our favorite places around town. The title and journaling is a take-off on the play "Our Town" by Thornton Wilder- I had to read it for school one year. The journaling was taken from the opening lines of the play, with names and dates changed to fit my page. It reads:
"This layout is called "Our Town". It was created by Sarah Kimbrel. In it you will see some of her favorite places such as the opera house, the railroad tracks, the bridge, and many others. The name of the town is Griffin, Georgia-- just south of Atlanta: latitude 84 degrees 16' 15" W; longitude 33 degrees 14' 51" N. The layout shows a day in our town. The day is August 23, 2007. The time is early afternoon..."
I did the word "Our" using stamps and "Town" was done using chipboard that I painted red. PP's are by Cosmo Cricket. Thanks so much for looking!
