I love your pp piecing, the lace, and oh-so-cute bunny! Your mom is an amazing woman! I used to get Easter baskets in the post when I was in college! They didn't stop until I had my own children.
This is adorable Sarah! Love the Bunny too! No, your never too old for Easter Baskets, I still make each of my boys a basket, but include their wives too!!! (LOL)!!! :>)
So cute - love the way you've set everything on the angle - the pps are perfect for an Easter page - great job on the little bunny - love how you put the lace between the pics and then put the title on top of it! Everything is just perfect! Love it!
Our Easter pics from this year- yes, my mom still makes us Easter baskets. The title came about because my Dad asked us if we were getting too old for this. On this layout, I used Cosmo Cricket's Jack's World line. I made the little bunny myself using one of my mom's old applique patterns. I used DMC for his whiskers and a pom-pom for his tail. The teal paper lace is by K&Co. Flourishes were handcut. I used Nestabilities to cut out the eggs- borrowed from someone at a crop. The cordouroy button is from an outfit my mom had as a child. Journaling reads:
"Aren't ya'll getting a little old for that?" That's what Daddy said upon entering the kitchen & seeing all of our Easter baskets. But the answer to that question is definitely "no!" In my opinion, one is never "too old" to get candy...Joshua, Sarah, & Benjamin ~ Easter 2009"
