I LOVE this! I need to scrap lift this and do one of my own messy room(s)! I also love the Shel Silverstein poem- I have not thought about his books in years!
My house looks like that all the time, Sarah! ROTF!!!!!!!!!!! Well, maybe not that bad! Love the funny photos! My older son, Michael, is in his 3rd year of college and he has his own apartment. I will say it looks like these photos! LOL!!
This turned out so good! Great idea for a page! Oh the joys of being in school and not having time for ANYTHING! I love the bg paper and that you added the lines to it, I never would have thought it wasn't a graph paper design. Love the honeycomb piece. Perfect poem for this lo! Great job! :)

Definitely an awesome LO Sarah! You SOOO took me back with mentioning Shel Silverstein! I sure hope my daughter will love his books as much as I did as a child :)

Sarah, I don't really think I've EVER seen your room this messy! However....scrapping it was a wonderful idea. One day your children will be able to see how messy you were! LOL!! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your style...this design is simply fabulous!!
I love Shel Silverstein...but...um......for allegedly being a neat freak....I'm finding it hard to believe that this just kinda...sorta ...accidently ..I was busy studying to be a brain surgeon...happened???? hee hee...LOVE this page... :) Debbi...
I can't believe I'm posting these photos online. I feel I should preface this by saying that normally when it comes to my room, I am very much a neat freak and it is very rare that you will find my room in such a state of disarray. That being said, there are some days...weeks...when cleaning gets pushed back on my priority list. I'm just going to blame school for instances such as these. Anyway, moving on...for this page I used papers from Basic Grey's "Urban Prairie" line. I cut out the honeycomb paper by hand and pop-dotted one of the pieces. The blue background piece was actually a solid when I started- I drew the lines using a ruler and a black Zig pen. The title comes from a poem by Shel Silverstein ("Messy Room"). I included the poem on the journaling strips at the bottom. I had to make slight alterations- basically changed it from masculine to feminine. Here it is, for those interested-
Whosever room this is should be ashamed! Her underwear is hanging on the lamp. Her raincoat is there in the overstuffed chair, And the chair is becoming quite mucky and damp. Her workbook is wedged in the window, Her sweater’s been thrown on the floor. Her scarf and one ski are beneath the TV, And her pants have been carelessly hung on the door. Her books are all jammed in the closet, Her vest has been left in the hall. A lizard named Ed is asleep in her bed, And her smelly old sock has been stuck to the wall. Whosever room this is should be ashamed! Donna or Roberta or Sally or— Huh? You say it’s mine? Oh dear, I knew it looked familiar!
